Family Story Time
Join us for family story time at the Museum! Cozy up with beanbags and enjoy a reading of a book all about creativity and innovation. Then, families will be challenged to embrace their own inventive spirit by getting crafty in the Inspire Center!

Family Movie Night: Elemental
What happens when fire and water join forces? Join us for a special showing of "Elemental," and follow Ember, a strong-willed fire person, and Wade, a fun-loving water person, on their adventures through Element City and Firetown! Families will then get a goody bag to take home that includes hands-on activities related to main themes of the movie.

Lunch and Learn – Connecticut’s Local Leaders: Creating the State and Economy in the Early Republic
Join us for this virtual presentation, as New England Regional Fellowship Consortium grantee, Elliot Warren, discusses how local leaders in Connecticut were integral to the development of an ‘American’ political economy in the early Republic.
Date Night: Sex and Love in the Archives
Spice up that boring old date night with some historical romance. Bring your beau, gal, or best pal to the CMCH for a “backstage” look at some of the objects in our collection associated with love and lust through the ages. Then, settle down with some wine and chocolate treats while you draw a miniature framed portrait of your partner to take home as a romantic (or just amusing) keepsake.
