SUMMARY:Grab and Go Bags: Whale of a State
DESCRIPTION:Ahoy mateys! It’s time to set sail! Children will discover what it was like to be a sailor on a whaling expedition in the 18th century. Then\, using images of items from the CMCH collection as inspiration\, they can make their own “scrimshaw!” \nPlease note\, there is no on-site family program; these bags are designed for families to complete at home and will be available while supplies last. These bags are free and great for children ages 5 and up. For additional information\, please contact Katerina Mazzacane\, Youth and Family Programs Manager\, at 860-236-5621 x222\, or email katerina_mazzacane@chs.org. \nThanks to Berkshire Bank for their support of this program.
