DESCRIPTION:The Inspire Center brings history and problem-solving together in a hands-on creative space for visitors of all ages! Look closely at objects from the Connecticut Museum collection\, get inspired\, and work together to create something new. With objects and themes changing monthly\, you can enjoy unique experiences all year long! July’s challenge is to invent a new way to stay cool during the hot summer months! \nFor more information about this space\, please visit the Inspire Center webpage. Through the end of August\, the Inspire Center is open Fridays\, Saturdays and Sundays! These expanded hours are sponsored by CREC Museum Academy.  \nThe Inspire Center is included with Museum admission\, which is free the first weekend of the month! Free First Weekend includes free admission to the Museum for all ages and occurs the first Saturday and Sunday of every month. \nQuestions? With inspiration from historic silhouette-style artwork\, families will create a framed portrait to take home! \nPlease note\, there is no on-site family program; these bags are designed for families to complete at home and will be available while supplies last. These bags are FREE and great for children ages 5 and up. Questions?
