Look closely at objects from the Connecticut Museum collection\, get inspired\, and work together to create something new. With objects and themes changing monthly\, you can enjoy unique experiences all year long! \nOctober Challenge:\nIdentify your favorite fairy tale and design a one-of-a-kind object inspired by the story. \nThe Inspire Center is open on weekends and is included with Museum admission. Admission is free for all ages during Free First Weekend\, which occurs the first Saturday and Sunday of every month. DESCRIPTION:Grab your hard hat and tool belt and become a construction worker for the day! Families will build with foam bricks and blocks\, create blueprints\, and learn about some of the tools and vehicles used on construction sites. \nThis program is FREE and great for children of all ages. To access the Tavern Signs exhibition and Auditorium (the primary location for this program)\, use the entrance to the Auditorium Lobby\, which is located to the left of the main entrance.
