DESCRIPTION:June 7 and 8 are Free First Weekend at the Museum! That means free admission for all ages\, all day long\, to our Museum galleries and the Inspire Center. \nExplore our newest exhibition\, Then\, Now Next\, 200 Years and Counting\, or Coffee: A Connecticut Story\, plus permanent galleries throughout the Museum. \nFamilies\, don’t forget to join us at Saturday’s free family program\, “Summer Fun” at 11 am\, and Sunday’s “Family Story Time” at 3 pm. \nFree First Weekend falls on the first full weekend (Saturday to Sunday) of each month. No pre-registration required!

Look closely at objects from the Connecticut Museum collection\, get inspired\, and work together to create something new. With objects and themes changing every other month\, you can enjoy unique experiences all year long! June’s challenge is to create a decoration to help the Museum celebrate its 200th birthday! \nFor more information about this space\, please visit the Inspire Center webpage. The Inspire Center is open every weekend and is included with Museum admission\, which is free the first weekend of the month! Free First Weekend includes free admission to the Museum for all ages and occurs the first Saturday and Sunday of every month. \nQuestions?
