    Inspire Center – Open Weekends!

    The Inspire Center brings history and problem-solving together in a hands-on creative space for visitors of all ages! Look closely at objects from the Connecticut Museum collection, get inspired, and work together to create something new. With objects and themes changing every other month, you can enjoy unique experiences all year long! January’s challenge is to improve the way we communicate!

  • Family Program: Transportation Trailblazers

    Did you know the first American submarine was invented in Connecticut? What about the first practical helicopter? Join us at the museum to learn more about these transportation innovations! Families will make a toy submarine, fly paper airplanes and helicopters, and pose in a hot air balloon-inspired photo booth while exploring the history of transportation in Connecticut.
