SUMMARY:Family Program: Play in the Past
DESCRIPTION:Imagine it was August in the year 1700 – what would a child be doing to pass the time? Come to Free First Saturday at the CMCH and experience what it means to “play like a Puritan.” Kids and their families will get the chance to play with colonial toys and games like ninepins\, hoops\, and game of graces\, compete against friends in colonial “chore races\,” and make their own whirligig toy to take home! \nThis drop-in program is free and open to the public\, and great for children ages 4 and up. For more information\, please contact Corinne Swanson at (860) 236-5621 x222 or email corinne_swanson@chs.org. Thanks to Berkshire Bank for their support of this program.
