All programs can be presented online via Zoom!
From the drama of 17th-century witch trials, to the intrigue of spies and traitors of the American Revolution, to the glamor of Hollywood icon Katharine Hepburn, CHS on the Road brings entertaining and engaging history to your library, senior center, retirement community, or club. Crisscrossing the state with projectors and laptops, our entertaining and engaging speakers will bring images of the special objects, costumes, diaries, letters, and portraits from the CMCH museum collection and tell you how they help us understand Connecticut’s past.
Our speakers will invite the audience to participate in the presentation, adding their memories and ideas to show how history continues to be relevant. Fees for programs are $225 per program. CMCH members receive a discounted rate of $200 per program. Groups scheduling 3 or more programs within a calendar year receive a discounted rate of $200 per program.
