Vacation Program: Whale of a State

April 14, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Did you know the Sperm Whale is Connecticut’s state animal? Do you know why? Join the CMCH as we explore the answer to this question! Dive into the history of whaling in Connecticut through storybooks, crafts, and activities for children of all ages! Then, search through our Making CT exhibit to see if you can find whaling artifacts from the 1800s!

This program is free for CMCH members and included with admission for non-members. It is great for children of all ages. For more information, please contact Katerina Mazzacane, Coordinator of Youth and Family Programs, at 860-236-5621 x222 or email katerina_mazzacane@chs.org.
