August Adventures: Time Travelers Week 1

Explore life in the past! At August Adventures, children can discover Connecticut’s history with a week of games, crafts, gallery visits, and more!

Time Travelers programs run on Tuesdays and Thursdays and are designed for children ages 5-6. In Session 1, we’ll travel back in time and learn what it was like to grow up in Connecticut in the late 1600s and early 1800s. Each day we’ll look at a different time period, explore the Making Connecticut exhibit, and try out different activities and crafts to learn about the daily life of historical kids – what they wore, how they learned, what chores they had to do, and what they did for fun.

Session 1: Tuesday, August 16 and Thursday, August 18
9:00 am – 12:00 pm 
$60 per session for CMCH members, $80 per session for non-members
