Coffee Hour with CMCH: Women’s Suffrage in CT

April 17, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

In 1914, the Connecticut Women’s Suffrage Association staged a mass parade in Hartford. At the CMCH, we have one of the original parade programs. Join us via Zoom to chat with CMCH staff about the parade and the suffrage movement in CT, and get a sneak peek of the stories that will be featured in our upcoming exibit, “A Vote of Her Own: The Long Fight for Woman Suffrage.”

All you need is a device (laptop, desktop, smartphone or tablet) with an internet connection. Click here to register. You’ll receive a confirmation email with information about how to join the meeting.

We’re offering this program for free, but if you would like to make a donation to help the CMCH keep history alive through this difficult time, please click here. Or, to learn about the benefits of museum membership, click here!
