Family Exhibit Tour: Dressing Up the Past

Visit the CMCH for a special tour of Making Connecticut followed by a related craft! Through close-looking and hands-on activities, explore how clothing was made and how fashion has changed throughout history. Families will have the opportunity to card wool, “work” in a textile factory, and more!

Thanks to Smithsonian Museum Day, we are excited to offer FREE admission to anyone with a Smithsonian Museum Day Voucher. To print your voucher, click here. Vouchers become available the morning of August 18th. Each tour is limited to 20 people. Families are encouraged to stay and continue to explore the exhibits after the tour and craft have ended.
