  • Family Activity Kits – New Theme!

    Family Activity Kits are free take-home resources for families to enjoy, bringing history and fun together in the comfort of your own home! With themes changing every other month, you can enjoy these kits all year long. May-June’s theme is “We Are Proud!" a celebration of identity. Explore the ways the LGBTQ community of Connecticut has been proud of who they are, learn how they fought for their identity to be accepted, and then complete activities that highlight why you are proud to be you!

    Get ready to see your name in lights! In this program all about Connecticut theaters and shows, you will get to explore historic objects, see performances by local artists, and create many theater-inspired crafts, like puppets, playbills, and more!

    The Inspire Center brings history and problem-solving together in a hands-on creative space for visitors of all ages! With objects and themes changing every other month, you can enjoy unique experiences all year long! June’s challenge is to design a new way to honor the 250th anniversary of the United States.
