In her debut picture book, "Grandmother Moon," she celebrates the relationship between a grandmother and grandchild, weaving Indigenous teachings into a modern setting. Journey to the past right in your own backyard! Families will learn how to recognize dinosaur tracks and prehistoric plants that still live in Connecticut today, dig for replica fossils of Connecticut dinosaurs, and then create their very own fossil to take home!

Visit the Museum for a reading of "This is Me: A Story of Who We Are & Where We Came From," while sipping hot cocoa and munching on treats.
