Look closely at objects from the Connecticut Museum collection, get inspired, and work together to create something new. December’s and January's challenge is to design a new style of pinback button.

  • Family Program: Snoozing in the Snow

    From hibernating to exploring, Connecticut animals experience winter in many ways! Through crafts and hands-on activities, learn about some of the ways these cuddly creatures stay warm (or not!) in the winter months. You can also make holiday poppers to celebrate the new year and decorate cards for loved ones!

  • Made to Last: Mohegan Basket Traditions with Sharon Maynard and Cass Meehan

    In this program, Mohegan basket-makers Sharon Maynard and Cass Meehan will utilize historic baskets from the Museum collection to share the living craft and tradition of Mohegan basketry from the 17th century to today. You will have an opportunity to see several historic baskets from our collection up close!
