Digital Reproductions

Available for personal, educational, and commercial use

Digital reproductions of images, manuscripts, and artifacts in the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History collection are available for personal, educational, and commercial use. Production fees vary depending on format and whether a master digital image or negative already exists or a new scan is necessary. Permission fees vary depending on use. You can download the fee schedules below.

Please note that objects, images, or other materials may not be published without written permission.

Order forms are available for download below and can be emailed to reproductions@chs.org or mailed to “Digital Reproductions, Connecticut Museum of Culture and History, One Elizabeth Street, Hartford, CT 06105.” Standard delivery is 10-15 business days. Rush service (2 business days) may be available. There is a 100% surcharge for rush delivery. And remember, you can find low resolution images of thousands of items from the CMCH collection for personal or educational use online!
